The 2025 Tuckerman Inferno was one for the record books! With clear blue skies, warm temperatures, and low avalanche risk, conditions were perfect for an epic race.
Competitors kicked off at Pinkham Notch, skinning and bootpacking all the way to the summit of Mount Washington. Racers navigated Tuckerman Ravine's steep headwall using a fixed-line. After tagging the top they raced down a GS ski course, dropping from the summit cone over the Ravine’s lip. The challenge didn’t end there—they ascended Hillman’s Highway before making a final descent from the top of Hillman's back to Pinkham Notch.
With over 80 racers and a volunteer crew of ski patrol, mountain guides, timers, race marshals, and many others who helped and cheered, it was an unforgettable day!
